Just a quick shot of the back of the office...it was nearing the end of the day and shadow play was just perfect.
Buildings are always a great source of quick inspiration
Buildings are always a great source of quick inspiration for architecture shots or just something perfectly angled.

Youre not dead yet (Dont give up)
I see a lot of this in Philly, unfortunately. A great reminder of where I came from, what waiting for me at the bottom of that bottle or needle.

I think one of the best gems of advice I ever got was from a photographer I met in San Francisco...I asked him how he kept going after 30 some odd years of work. He just said "Keep Evolving" and walked away. Id like to think he was my future self sent back to inspire me...

Panorama US-93
Stopped at a rest area somewhere on the ride to the hoover dam. Pictures like these are what keep me coming back to the high desert.

Meteor City Trading Post
At daybreak I left the rest area and headed to the abandoned Meteor City trading post a dozen miles west of Winslow, AZ. Not an actual city, the trading post is named for the nearby crater Barringer Crater, where the Canyon Diablo Meteorite hit 50,000 years ago. The site was much smaller than Two Guns, which I'd explored the previous day, but this place had only been abandoned for 2 years, so I figured there would still be plenty to see.

McCartrhy Acres Sign
Among the old treasures I still find in the barn, this is one of my favorites. Painted by my father when he was a teenager.
Mayors Emergency Telephone System
The San Francisco police telephone system dates from the nineteenth century, and was used extensively for patrol operations by the San Francisco Police Department until 1967 when portable hand-held radios were introduced.

Dahl-Beck. San Fran
The Charles W. Dahl & Son Electrical Company was started in San Francisco by Charlie Dahl in the year 1900. At the age of 19 Charlie came to the United States from Sweden where he had served his apprenticeship by learning the machinist and electrical trades. Charlie was a likable character who had earned a great deal of respect for his integrity and reliable workmanship.
